Racism

American Racism is so much better than anyone else’s racism. In America in 2008, if you are a racist, you actions are pretty much limited to mean words and the occasional symbol of hate like burning crosses, lynching nooses, and the like. We have a full range of mean spirited words but even some of those have been reclaimed by the race they’ve been aimed at and are now in use in pop culture.
America has so many different races in it. That is why racism is a big part of America. There are all different types of people and because of that people have the ability to think different about someone else’s background and culture.

Realization

My presentation was on what differentiates every culture form the next. I chose this presentation because I felt like people should realize and appreciate every type of culture and what comes behind its history. What does culture really mean. They tell us that it means the behaviors and beliefs characteristic of particular social, ethnic, or age group. There are so many cultures in this world you cannot even imagine. With each culture there comes a different background behind it. If it from different traditions, to celebrations to even language. So ask yourself how really different is the person sitting right beside you is.

Women In the Middle East

When you look at this picture what do you see? I see a women, trapted, abused, not being able to speak her mind and with the look of the bars i see rust. This obviously means this has been happening for a long time.
So your a women in America, what does that make you? It gives you power, the power to speak your mind, vote, work, go out, you have the right of everything. Now think of the women in the Middle East. If she was to try to do anything that women in America do she would be brutally abused, put into jail, and even killed. Now women ask yourself, is your life really that bad?

Girls Education in Pakistan

If you were to walk into a school in Pakistan chances are there would be no females in it. Taliban is against women being educated and because of this there are hundereds of girl schools being blown up in Pakistan. This story is about 15 young women in Pakistan being attacked by the Taliban because they were on their way to school. Imagine girls if you had to fear every morning when going to school someone attacking you beating you just because you want an education.
